We made it to Texas this evening. We’re staying at another Love’s truck stop in Amarillo. We drove for 13 hours today, but now are only 7 hours away from Fayetteville, Arkansas. So close we can taste it! It was extremely cold last night in Arizona, it got down to 13°. Flagstaff was not at all what I had imagined. It’s a lot higher in elevation than I had realized and is in the middle of the Cocoino forest. I thought it was flat and full of cactuses. After leaving Arizona early this morning we cruised right into New Mexico. All of the mountains were so beautiful. It’s interesting to see how other people live, only a few states away from you.
Keith pulls the fifth wheel with Hayden, Molly, Lincoln, and Pumpkin. I follow in my Accord with Hannah and Bear, but coordinate the trip from the car. We did have the dogs in the trailer at the beginning of the trip, but they quickly figured out that the party is in the vehicles. Lol.
I can’t believe tomorrow we’ll be pulling up to our new home. I think it’s so exciting the kids have never even been there. They both have really enjoyed this trip. I’m so looking forward to the new memories we’ll be creating together. It’s been an adventure for us all, even the dogs and cats. The possibilities are endless!!

Thank you Cierra, your pics and info are great:)
