Ok, I couldn’t help myself, corney jokes are good.
We woke up in Amarillo, Texas this morning all very tired and not used to the 2 hour time change. We’re now in the Central time zone. We were not in Texas for too long since we were at the northern part. It was very beautiful though and boy do they love country music. Luckily, I do too because every station on the radio was country!
Next HWY 40 took us into Oklahoma. What gorgeous country! I was floating while driving along looking at the big rolling clouds above the beautiful straw fields. Each state really does have it’s own unique look and feel.
After 3 1/2 days, we finally reached our destination!! It was dark when we got here, so I don’t have any pics! More tomorrow!
